Randy has been playing music for most of his life, singing and playing guitar since his pre-teens. He formed numerous musical groups during his high school years and fronted two local night club groups, “Top Cat” and “Casino” into the mid 80’s. In 2001 he joined MLC&AH as the lead guitarist. A Pacific Northwest Native, Randy is an extremely smooth guitar player that keeps the rhythm section of MLC&AH polished and tight. Adding his background vocals to the package is the frosting on the cake.
Chris Eger – Lead Vocals, Guitar, Percussion
Chris, the newest member of MLC&AH, began studying music at a very young age. After eight years of classical piano training he transitioned into playing guitar at the age of fourteen. Since then he has acquired much experience as a featured guitarist from playing in his high school jazz ensemble to playing with the Skagit Valley College jazz band. Chris performed with the Skagit Valley College jazz choir at the historic Carnegie Hall in New York City in 2007. Chris is currently a music major at Central Washington University.
A Pacific Northwest Native, Chris is an awesome vocalist with musical skills that intrigue all audiences.
Drummer Joe Natola, originally from the Boston area started pounding the skins at age 11 and hasn’t stopped since. He has been in the Pacific Northwest since 1971. One of the founding members of MLC&AH he has been with the band since the beginning back in 1988. Joe has played professionally throughout the pacific northwest since the 70’s and toured across the United States and Canada playing 6 nights a week with various classic rock and top 40 bands. Joe brings many years of experience to the stage and MLC&AH with his tasteful drumming and backing vocals. Which rounds out the rhythm section of MLC&AH nicely!
Rick is a classical trained pianist and started performing at recitals at age 10. After attending Cornish, Seattle prestige’s Music School for 4 years in the Jazz program, he started playing on the Northwest Music scene. He has toured with dozens of bands here and in Canada as well. Since 1988, as one of the founding members, he has played with and enjoyed being a member of Midlife Crisis Featuring the Alimony Horns.
A Pacific Northwest Native, Rick is drive behind the band and brings a whole bunch of talent to the table for MLC&AH to back it up with his versatile lead vocals, multiple keyboard abilities and overall musical knowledge.
Bruce D. Lantz – Electric Bass
Larry Wilhelm – Trumpet, Flugel, Valve Trombone
Larry is a Pacific Northwest native and started playing trumpet in the sixth grade. He graduated with a music education degree from WSU. Larry has taught public school band for the last 35 years in the Oak Harbor and LaConner school districts. In his younger years, Larry was inspired to play in a band like MLC&AH by Jimmy Hanna and the Dynamics performances and Parkers Ball Room. Originally playing trumpet and flugel horn as well as arranging with the Crisis, Larry is an original “Alimony Horn” for MLC&AH and has been with the band since 1996. Larry now plays valve trombone adding a bit more depth to the horn section.
Patrick Manuel – Tenor Saxophone
Patrick has performed with MLC since 2001. He graduated from Western Washington University in 1997 and earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Clarinet Performance and also obtained a teaching certificate in Music Education. While attending WWU, he participated in all of the university's music ensembles and also played principal clarinet in the Seattle Youth Symphony. Patrick (Mr. Manuel) is currently the Director of Bands at Oak Harbor Middle School. Occasionally while playing with The Crisis he will surprise audiences with his vocal abilities as well.
